40th Reunion a Big Success!!

Whoa!!  What a great weekend!!  There were plenty of smiles and hugs and lots of fun when 1968 Lions from all across the country and even from Germany got together to celebrate their 40th Reunion.  More than 170 people showed up at the Spring Creek Barbeque on Friday night and 200 plus came for the Saturday gala.  Mrs. Jan McClain, one of our five former teachers to attend our 40th Reunion bash, spoke Saturday night about her experiences with us and how special she thought we were. 

Thanks to our hard-working committee members, the events went smoothly and everyone had a wonderful time getting re-acquainted with classmates, visiting and talking, eating tasty barbeque Friday night and zesty Mexican food Saturday night, dancing to great oldies from the 60s, and having a rousing good time.  Many spoke of how special the occasion was and certainly were in agreement with McClain's assessment of how special we were!!
